About us reveals the persons behind this website, which is born with the idea for helping people like you and me in using alternative energy technologies to their benefit, while contributing to the reduction of the global pollution affecting our health.
And what an opportunity the internet offers to do this!
My name is Erwin Mackintosh. As a graduate of Electrical Designer and Constructor at the 'High Poly Technical School' in Rotterdam Holland, I worked in the Technical Department of the Government of the Netherlands Antilles on the island of Curacao in the Dutch Caribbean for two years.
Then I was offered a position at the Electrical Company of the island, where I enjoyed a better ranked position and salary. For 19 years I have been planning and designing electrical transmission and distribution network on the island. In those days the company began installing wind power generators and the production of electricity by means of wind energy had started in Curacao and with it my passion for alternative energy was born.
After having been abroad for 27 years, the urge for my native island Aruba, took me back home. I established my own Electrical Installer and Approval Company and was mainly doing a living in approving electrical installations for home and business. I retired in 2007.
